**COVID-19 update

For the safety of our pupils, we will have the following COVID-compliant procedures in place: 

• All teaching rooms will be fully ventilated and pupils will be encouraged to remain socially distanced where possible (please ensure that your child brings a jumper with them).

• For G&T School (ages 5-16), all pupils will remain in their section bubbles: Infants; Juniors; Seniors; for all classes and break times (these bubbles are in-line with Orley Farm). 

• Break times will take place outside (weather permitting).

• In our Singing classes, pupils will stand facing forwards at a distance from each other and will be encouraged to sing quietly.

• All pupils in Year 7 and above will need to wear a mask or face shield when indoors (until further notice).

• Unfortunately, no parents/guardians will be allowed in school and we politely ask that only one parent/guardian drops off their child in the quad area, outside the Elliott Building, where they will be met by a member of the G&T team. 

• Award certificates will be sent via email. For G&T School (ages 5-16) the usual awards ceremony will not take place until further notice. 

• Please collect your child in the quad area promptly at 9.45am for Mini-Performers, and 1pm for G&T School (ages 5-16).

The changes above are in-line with current government guidelines and will be reviewed regularly. 

Collection Policy

All students will be signed-in on arrival and shown to their first class.

Students are to be picked up from the Drama Studio. Pupils will not be allowed to leave this room until a parent or guardian has arrived. If you have made an arrangement for another parent to pick up your child, please can you email or phone us prior to pick up with the name of the designated trusted adult. If any of our ‘senior’ pupils are allowed to leave the building by themselves, please could you also email this permission in writing.

Mobile Phones

We understand that some students may have a mobile phone with them. We ask that they do no use them during classes or at break times. We cannot be held responsible if they are lost, damaged or stolen.

Health and Safety

Safety is paramount at G&T. Children are closely monitored during all activities and are made fully aware of what is expected of them for each task and the boundaries and behaviour they must adhere to.

G&T requires all of its staff to have enhanced clearance via the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB).
